Plant Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking candidate with mechanical aptitude to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment, including operating machinery, performing maintenance, and supporting production operations. This position requires availability to work a 12-hour rotating shift, including days, nights, and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general labor duties such as loading/unloading materials, cleaning, and organizing work areas.
• Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
• Support skilled trades and production teams as needed.
• Conduct basic mechanical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanically inclined with basic knowledge of tools and machinery.
• Previous experience in a labor, manufacturing, construction or Armed Forces environment is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift, including days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
