Dental Assistant - Mcauley Clinic

Monday - Friday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

No weekends or holidays!

Dental Assistant Overview:

• To work in an Dental clinic, rooming patients, recording Medical/Dental history and assisting Dentist with procedures that include prepping of patients.
• Sterilization, dental terminology and dental radiology is very helpful.
• Must be a team player and flexible in job duties.

Qualifications for Dental Assistant I:

• Education: Graduate of Dental Assisting program or work experience in an oral surgery office.
• Licensure: Prefer someone that is a Certified Dental Assistant, if not must be willing to obtain in reasonable amount of time.

• Other: Skills, knowledge and abilities: Working conditions, mental and physical requirements: Equipment used:
• Preferred Education: Graduate of Dental Assisting Program.
• Preferred Certifications: Certified Dental Assistant or be willing to obtain. DAANCE (Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification Examination) certification preferred.

Qualifications for Dental Assistant II:

• Education: Graduate of Expanded Functions Dental Assisting program

• Licensure: Certified Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

• Certifications: Expanded functions to include,

  • Orthodontics

  • Prosthodontics (Fixed and Removable)

• Other: Skills, knowledge and abilities: Working conditions, mental and physical requirements:

• Preferred Education: Graduate of Dental Assisting Program.

• Preferred Licensure: Must be Licensed in the State of Missouri as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

• Preferred Certifications: Certified Dental Assistant certification preferred.
