As Senior Manager, Digital Fundraising & Engagement, you'll play a key role in driving revenue growth by leading digital fundraising campaigns, creating dynamic content, and engaging donors across platforms. You'll collaborate with marketing and communications teams to amplify our message, leverage cutting-edge digital tools, and build an engaged donor community to support our $500M Beyond Ready campaign.

  • Partner with the youth voice team to create content that resonates with donors and alumni.
  • Innovate and implement new digital engagement strategies to enhance donor retention and giving.

Position Summary

National 4-H Council is seeking a creative and strategic Senior Manager of Digital Fundraising and Engagement to drive our fundraising efforts through compelling digital content and innovative storytelling as part of Council's $500M Beyond Ready campaign. Reporting to the Director of Annual Giving and working in partnership with the Communications and Marketing teams, this exciting new role will be responsible for developing and executing digital fundraising campaigns, creating impactful content for social media to drive revenue, and engaging with alumni, donors, and friends to enhance donor acquisition, retention, and cultivation.

Responsibilities:

Digital Fundraising Strategy:

  • Develop and execute Council's digital fundraising campaigns, focusing on year-end, fiscal year-end, day-of-giving, and crowdfunding initiatives.
  • Create and implement digital strategies using platforms like Ignite, HubSpot, Meta, LinkedIn, and Google for email marketing, paid and organic social media, and digital advertising.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Annual Giving to plan and manage messaging and content for fundraising campaigns, ensuring alignment across emails, social media, direct mail and digital platforms.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support Council's fundraising objectives.

Content Creation for Fundraising:

  • Lead the creation and execution of fundraising-focused digital content for social media platforms, ensuring alignment with Council's brand and fundraising goals.
  • Work closely with writers, graphic designers, Communications, and multimedia producers to develop engaging content that drives donor engagement and contributions.
  • Develop and manage digital fundraising content for events, programs, and campaigns, including alumni and donor engagement initiatives.

Engagement and Community Building:

  • As part of the Individual Giving team, develop digital campaigns aimed at donor recruitment and retention.
  • Partner with the youth voice team to create engaging content that resonates with donors and alumni.
  • Monitor and engage with the online community to foster stronger relationships with alumni, donors, and friends, informing content strategies to drive greater engagement and funding.

Analytics and Performance Optimization:

  • Monitor and analyze the performance of digital fundraising campaigns using tools such as StratusLive, HubSpot, Power BI, and Google Analytics.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize campaign performance, including adjustments to content, audience targeting, and channel strategies.
  • Regularly report on digital fundraising outcomes, identifying successes and opportunities for improvement.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and manage meaningful adjustments to strategies.
  • Identify and implement digital enhancements based on new and emerging technologies and industry best practices.
  • Continue to monitor and refine campaign strategies to achieve Council's digital marketing goals.

Collaboration and Leadership:

  • Work as part of the Individual Giving team to ensure digital fundraising strategies complement direct mail and text solicitation campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the Development and Communications teams to amplify fundraising content and integrate digital efforts across platforms.
  • Participate in departmental and organization-wide meetings, providing leadership and contributing to the achievement of campaign goals.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, related field or any equivalent combination of relevant work experience and training.
  • 5-7+ years of proven experience in digital fundraising and content creation, particularly in social media content.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools, analytics platforms and emerging trends.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and leverage actionable insights to enhance digital fundraising strategies and organizational objectives
  • Proven track record in managing digital campaigns using a variety of social platforms.
  • Engage donors and foster community through innovative digital content.
  • Support and articulate Council's core values through all digital fundraising efforts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite including word, outlook, and teams.
  • Experience using fundraising campaign tools such as StratusLive, HubSpot, Power BI, or Google Analytics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage and priotize mutliple projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with a talent for presenting data and insights in a clear, compelling manner. Adept at visual story telling.

Travel Requirements: Travel may be necessary up to 10% of the time (local, regional, national). Would require travel by air, car or rail.
