JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: A Marketing and Communications Specialist Supervisor is being sought to serve as the principal brand steward of the College of Education, leading the development of the College's marketing and communication strategies and brand messaging, Changing Education by Educating for Change. The Supervisor will have oversight and responsibility for all marketing and communications initiatives and for creating engaging content that advances the College's mission and enhances its image and visibility to internal and external target markets. The Marketing and Communications Specialist Supervisor will manage the writing staff while working with a team of communications professionals and supervising the College's communications operations. After training, the Marketing and Communication Specialist Supervisor will also work with various software and tools including Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, EndNote, web page and social media page design tools, and PSUbuy (Penn State's procure-to-pay system).
