The
Log Yard Operator will be responsible for operating a knuckle boom loader and
traveling crane to load, unload, lift, move, position, and reposition
loads. Duties Include:

Operate front-end loader, knuckle boom loader, and crane under general
supervision.

Inspect loader and crane for safety issues daily.

*
Determine if any parts are malfunctioning.

*
Complete daily check sheets, track load counts from trucks, and log feed into
the mill.

*
Unload and load trucks at the work site using a front-end loader and knuckle
boom loader.

*
Operate hand and foot controls on the crane and loader.

*
Perform work within precise limits and standards of accuracy.

* Perform
as a backup for the crane operator and scale operator as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Willing to work any shift, including weekends, holidays, or overtime as needed.

Good communication skills.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Ability to learn and adapt to change.

Ability to adhere to all safety policies and regulations, including wearing
safety equipment.

Ability to work in a noisy environment.
