About Salesforce

We're Salesforce, the Customer Company, inspiring the future of business with AI+ Data +CRM. Leading with our core values, we help companies across every industry blaze new trails and connect with customers in a whole new way. And, we empower you to be a Trailblazer, too - driving your performance and career growth, charting new paths, and improving the state of the world. If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good - you've come to the right place.

Salesforce's global events program provides hands-on product experiences to customers, prospects, administrators, and executive decision makers worldwide. These events are a critical marketing channel, driving marketing-driven pipeline (MDP), deal closing, education, and in-person networking. They also drive adoption and scaled solutions. Demand Generation fuels engagement, awareness, and registration for attendees, both in-person and virtually on Salesforce+. The success of our events depends on the success of Demand Generation efforts.

In this role, you will lead a team of art directors to deliver diverse digital initiatives and assets for our global event portfolio, including Dreamforce. The scope includes registration websites, targeted emails, Salesforce+ cards, and more. You must demonstrate an in-depth understanding of interactive visual design principles, platforms, UI/UX, and developer capabilities. Effective people management, leadership, and collaborative partnerships with the Strategic Events team are essential. A desire to push conceptual thinking around design and technology trends is crucial for creating meaningful journey experiences and driving registration.

Additionally, the team will generate, organize, govern, and deliver design systems for all aspects of each event, both digital and print. These systems, documented as Playbooks and FIGMA boards, will enable event design teams, global agency partners, and internal creative peers.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE (BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO):

  • Understanding and interpreting brand, user, and business needs to develop innovative, creative, and results-oriented digital solutions.

  • Creating original design concepts for both physical and virtual event spaces.

  • Understanding event user flow from pre- to post-event experiences.

  • Partnering with UX Architects, Copywriters, and Technology team members to ensure design follows best practices, optimizes messaging, and is technically feasible.

  • Brainstorming big ideas in a group setting and clearly articulating your opinions

  • Creating concepts, mood boards, visual design comps, and other design deliverables to promote and sell your work

  • Effectively presenting design concepts in stakeholder and leadership meetings.

  • Actively participating in the mentorship of Interactive Visual Designers to foster creative excellence and development across the team.

  • Ensuring design consistency and quality.

  • Maintaining relevance by monitoring digital trends, attending workshops, and joining professional groups.

  • Building and maintaining playbooks and FIGMA boards.

  • Maintaining connections and relationships with agency partners and OU creative peers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience as an ACD or Creative Director in a creative-focused agency or in-house at a leading brand.

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in concept and design and visual hierarchy across a variety of digital landscapes (websites, responsive design, mobile apps, web applications, digital media, email campaigns, etc.)

  • Bachelor of Fine Arts, BA in a related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Proven ability to work within brand guidelines to create compelling visual solutions.

  • Proficiency with a wide range of design tools, including Figma, Abstract, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite; expertise in prototyping, Photoshop, Animation, 3D, and video editing is a plus.

  • Ability to translate wireframes into effective designs.

  • Understanding of the capabilities and limitations of front-end technologies, including CSS, HTML, and JavaScript (coding not required); experience with Pagebuilder and/or Adobe AEM is a plus.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.

  • Must be highly motivated, positive, and a passionate team player.
