Senior Surgery Scheduler - Invasive Cardiology

The Senior Scheduling Coordinator will function as system expert for scheduling in Invasive Cardiology.
*SYSTEM EXPERT - Serves as the primary contact for Epic scheduling issues for the clinics and the Invasive Cardiology charge nurses and managers *DATA/REPORTING: Performs regular audits and generates reports related to scheduling, volumes, and other operational metrics. *EDUCATION of clinic and procedural staff and LIPs scheduling in Epic, in coordination with the Epic Cupid trainers. *UTILIZATION Management - work with the schedulers, care coordinators, and managers to maximize utilization in the procedural labs with emphasis on throughput and volumes and the placement for each patient.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Experience: 1 year experience in IC Scheduling and 3 years experience in clinical setting. Licensure: None PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires sitting for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping and repetitive motion typing. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull < 20lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
