Temple University's Klein College of Media & Communications is searching for a Manager of Technical Operations. Salary Grade: T26 Learn more about the "T" salary structure here: https://careers.temple.edu/sites/careers/files/documents/T_Salary_Structure.pdf Job Summary: The Manager of Technical Operations is responsible for all technological and engineering functions of Temple University Television TUTV, Temple's cable and streaming channel with associated online and social media assets. The manager will be charged with selecting and implementing new technologies, maintaining current master control systems, developing new workflow, overseeing multi-platform video transmission, content playback and archiving protocols. Maintains daily interaction with the TUTV general manager, programming/production manager, digital director, content producer, student workers and the Klein College technical team to ensure TUTV's highest level of operational efficiency. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree and two (2) years' experience providing engineering support to a 24/7/365 master control. Experience with TV Master Control operations, multi-platform video transmission, content playback and archiving protocols. Experience designing audio/video signal flow. Experience working in higher education. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Preferred: Recent, full-time experience working in a live television engineering environment. Required Skills & Abilities:
