About This Role
K-State Research and Extension is seeking applications for an Extension Assistant/Associate Professor (Extension Consumer Safety Specialist). The position is a two-state (Kansas State University and the University of Missouri) joint appointment. Kansas State University and the University of Missouri are land grant universities with a three-part mission of education, research, and extension. The position will be based at Kansas State University-Olathe campus, a graduate campus focused on animal health and food safety and security in the greater Kansas City metropolitan area. Work is performed partially remote and partially on employer premises or designated assignment location. This role is expected to work on-site approximately two (2-3) days a week. An employee who is working remotely must reside within the United States in order to comply with all federal and state laws, filings, or tax requirements.
