POSITION DESCRIPTION AND SPECIFICATION POSITION TITLE: Manufacturing Business Development Sales Manager DATE: March 2025
FLSA STATUS: Exempt DEPT: Manufacturing LOC: Remote POSITION SUMMARY: Candidate will report to the Director of Manufacturing and is responsible for securing new business for the manufacturing division. Will lead a team of 2-4 business development and sales representatives to achieve overall sales and revenue goals. Will lead the team to capture and develop new business and expand existing contracts in a strategically defined manner. This position will be responsible for mining opportunities with potential customers and working opportunities from identification through award, including proposal development, submittal, and contract award. Cooperatively interacts with organizational leaders within Summit Aviation to develop and define a customer base in the manufacturing market segment and performs other duties as assigned. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to work in seated or standing positions for prolonged periods of time and perform office and clerical duties including use of office tools. Working Environment: The working environment will be your home office with occasional travel to the Summit Aviation locations in Delaware and North Carolina and travel to customer and vendor locations as necessary.
