Position Title: Assembly
Wage: $18/hour Shift: 1st Hours: Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm, Friday 6am-2:30pm QPS has an immediate opening at an awesome company in Edgerton, Kansas. This is a 1st Shift Warehouse Assembly position. This is an associate to hire position in a safe and clean warehouse environment. Great pay, benefits, and a lot of growth opportunities. Assembly Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Pull flatstock to carts - Assemble MailWraps - Bag MailWraps, Yard DeSigns, and Garden Flags, Adapter kits, Art Coasters with appropriate components - Operate electric staplers to attach packaging - Tumble and Iron Garden Flags - Stock assembled product in warehouse - Adhere to published production schedules - Maintain clean and safe work area - Communicate and coordinate effectively with other departments - Uphold company quality control standards - Attend department meetings - Follow established department guidelines, policies, and procedures - Be considerate of all company assets - Operate UPC label machine - Assist with mailings as needed - Participate in annual physical inventory Assembly Requirements: - Ability to perform repetitive tasks with speed and accuracy - Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time - Lift 30 lbs., push and pull carts, occasional bending and use of a step ladder - Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
