Coke Florida is looking for a Director, Commercial Operations based out of our Tampa HQ area office. What You Will Do: The Director of Commercial Operations will be responsible for daily operations of the commercial routines ensuring timely development and execution of Channel and Customer programs. Responsible for leading a team of Commercial Operations Managers and Program Execution Managers in support of Customer program development and field execution. Implement planning and stewardship routines working collaboratively with Customer Teams, Field Sales, PGM, Supply Chain/Packaging, Media, and CCNA Franchise to strategically develop and deliver Coke Florida Commercial plans.
- Requires a unique combination of brand, channel, and customer marketing expertise.
- Responsible for localizing national pillar programs and regional assets in development of Customer programs around Consumer passions.
- Understands the value of Local Customer Development and effectively balances the needs between National/Region chains and the local, Independent Customer base.
- Possesses the ability to build collaborative working relationships with cross-functional peers including Sales, PGM, Manufacturing, Product Supply, Franchise Leadership, etc.
- Knows the value and implements relevant segmentations strategies that leverage marketplace diversity.
- Implements management routines and tracks brand and category performance vs plan; develops gap-fill plans to course correct as needed.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure plans align with Coke Florida commercial priorities and brand strategies while delivering against the Coke Florida business plan.
- Lead Coke Florida Commercial Strategy and Commercial routines.
- Lead, influence and align against Commercial priorities and plan development to deliver the business plan and drive execution of the commercial plans with the field sales team.
- Manage plan development process from initial concepts to field execution to post analysis.
- Ensure plans are financially sound and aligned with the business.
- Measure and evaluate plan impact and effectiveness, and use results to drive future program development (Post analysis recap at the completion of projects, including aligned metrics such as business impact (vol, rev, GP, OI), media impact (reach, frequency, impressions)
- Manage external partners (agencies, suppliers, vendors, assets)
- Steward approvals for all collateral materials (Coke Florida, brand, legal, partners)
- Accountable for on-time and on budget delivery of plans, including execution guidelines (PicOS, display elements etc.
For this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10+ years relevant Marketing experience.
- Experience working with retail Sales/Customer teams on implementing marketing programs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of food service industry, preferably in the beverage category.
- Proven leader of teams, with track record of inspiring others, driving results, and building collaboration.
- Superior written and verbal communication.
