What makes this role important at Ipsos?

As Director, you play a key role in managing the overall health of client relationships. Your responsibilities include the execution and oversight of projects to successful completion, while managing junior staff, As an experienced researcher, you manage the client relationship, provide consultative support on questionnaire design and reporting, design analytic frameworks for actionable and strategic insights and broaden client relationships to grow businesses.

What you can expect to be doing:



  • Independently manage and coordinate all aspects of the research process from proposal writing and research design, analysis and interpretation of results through to preparation of reports and delivery of presentations
  • Managing key operational partners (data collection, data processing and results reporting) to ensure that reliable results are delivered to client in a timely, cost-efficient manner
  • Maintain a project budget and work with team to ensure all aspects of the study continue to operate smoothly
  • With oversight from Senior Leadership, foster strong client relationships and work to develop those relationships through frequent client contact including travel to client sites, leading meetings/presentations, and delivering insightful, thoughtful research.
  • Provide training, guidance and support to junior staff



This might be the job for you if you have:



  • Minimum of 7 years quantitative supplier-side market research experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative research project management skills
  • Self-motivated, analytical individual with an attention-to-detail who strives in a dynamic, deadline driven environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (verbal and written communication) are necessary for effective development and maintenance of internal and external client relationships
  • Superior organizational, multi-tasking, decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Works well in a team environment with colleagues at all levels
  • Knowledge of research methodologies and statistics are required
  • Must be able to create questionnaires, sample designs & data tab plans
  • Must have some client management experience
  • Proficient with MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Working knowledge of SPSS
  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, marketing research, or social sciences

In accordance with NY/CO/CA/WA law, the estimated base salary range for this role is $120,000 - $135,000. Your final base salary will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
