Summary
Supervise picking, packing, shipping, and kitting department employees, direct and improve processes to meet customer delivery requests and inventory control targets. As Manager and Leader at Haldex, you are expected to lead by Haldex' values. Establish a bridge building culture and act with 5C role model behavior.

Duties & Responsibilities

? Supervise the work team; Team leaders, pick/pack/ship, and kitting department personnel

? Ensuring customer orders are sent accurately, on time to customer request date and in an efficient manner meeting all customer specific requirements of labelling, packaging, palletizing, etc.

? Collaborate with the Receiving/Stock Replenishment Supervisor on process improvement activities within the employee team and support of Haldex Way methods and initiatives

? Monthly KPI reporting within their scope of responsibility

? Perform employee appraisals on specified schedule and according to Haldex procedures.

? Develop, implement and sustain standardized work for all positions within their scope of responsibility to Haldex standards and guidelines

As Leader at Haldex you have the duty and responsibility for your own and your team's actions, meeting deliverables and objectives. You are also responsible to develop and confirm your team member's competence by reactively and proactively train and coach on how and why to work efficiently and effectively. Actively manage and participate in the development of your team and cross-functional work, establishing organizational and process changes. Monitor and support the team's and processes performance, addressing deviations or communicate need for support. You are expected and have authority to temporarily stop any work or processes if safety, environment or quality is at risk.

All employees are responsible to perform standardized work according to the defined valid standards and procedures, as well as contribute to refining and improving the work and its standards and procedures.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:

* Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year College or University

* Or one to two years related experience and/or training

* Or equivalent combination of education and experience

* Experience and ability to operate fork truck and motorized material handling equipment.

General Knowledge/Skills:

* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

* Ability to speak effectively before groups

* Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

* Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry

* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
