Interested applicants will also need to submit their application to Cloud Talent Agency Role: Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Prepares department reporting, periodic loan department updates, and periodic reports for management's financial and operational reports; including new loan report, asset/liability report, loan officer statistical report, commercial potential problem loans reports. Develops, proposes, gains acceptance for and implements lending program policy and strategy; leads activity related to new product development with respect to lending programs. Participates in establishment of annual department budget and monitors performance to budget throughout the year; establishes annual sales goals (in conjunction with marketing) for lending programs and initiates action to achieve established goals. Serves as a member of the Asset/Liability Committee to develop operating procedures that assure the Credit Union maintains sufficient levels of capital, liquidity and pricing spreads. Ensures the Credit Union is in compliance with all lending regulations; develops procedural changes as compliance requires or new programs demand. Analyzes loan data reports for any corrective action. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Performance Measurements: 2. Ensures the department is providing friendly, professional, timely, personal service to all members. 3. Ensures that divisions are meeting goals for delinquency, production, and sales. 4. Coordinates all lending programs, i.e. mortgage, student, consumer and implements loan promotions and communicates new programs and changes to policies to insure all lending activity is within established policies and regulations. 5. Keeps management informed regarding key operational issues affecting the department. 6. Establishes and achieves management development objectives for individual managers. 7. Notes observations of employee performance. Gives and receives coaching and feedback from division employees; completes performance reviews within the prescribed timeframe. 8. Complies with all applicable rules, regulations and policies, including but not limited to BSA, OFAC and Knowledge and Skills: Education: (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree). Interpersonal Skills: Work frequently involves exercising advanced conflict resolution, giving material presentations, and resolving issues impacting multiple departments or divisions. Role also requires the ability to motivate or influence others as a material part of the role, with a significant level of diplomacy and trust. Obtaining cooperation (internally and/or externally) is an important part of the role and a high level of interpersonal skills is critical to the success of this position. Other Skills: Must have in-depth understanding of and ability to interpret regulations affecting lending programs. Extensive knowledge of consumer, commercial and real estate lending practices and procedures. Should be able to run spreadsheet and word processing software. Ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak English clearly. Normally expected to work between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. but may be required to work nights and/or weekends.
