SUMMARY: A journeyman is a trained electrician who has completed an electrician apprenticeship. Reaching a journey level requires many hours of training and a license. As a journeyman, you can work independently on certain projects, such as service work, installing outlets or fixtures or correcting electrical malfunctions. Journeyman electrician must be expert in electrical code and electrical systems in order to perform their job safely. This can vary depending on their specialty but may include using power tools, repairing wires and applying knowledge of safety procedures. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. All of the following are to be performed while adhering to Tree Top operational policies, safety rules, procedures and good manufacturing practices. It is the responsibility of every employee at Tree Top Inc. to report food safety and food quality problems or risks to personnel with the authority to initiate action against these said possible risks. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision for making machine adjustments and completing paperwork, distance vision to observe line operation and safety, color vision for color coded equipment, peripheral vision for safety and machine operation and repair, depth perception for safety and machine operation and repair, and the ability to adjust focus for safety and machine operation and repair. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
The noise level in the work environment is loud and sometimes very load due to machine operation adjustments.
