Electrical Technician Location(s): Summit, IL, US, 60501-0907 Function: Manufacturing Audience: Hourly Work Arrangement: On Site Requisition ID: 64389 Department: Maintenance Job: Industrial Controls Technician Base Rate:$40.00 Hour based on skill level 2nd shift 3pm-11pm w/ flexibility for 3rd shift 11pm-7am Full Health Care Benefit Package! *The Industrial Controls Technician will:* Provide and coordinate production reliability improvement efforts and equipment troubleshooting support as needed with the production, maintenance, and engineering teams (become that first line of support for advanced troubleshooting activities) Coordinate facility, trade and OEM-service contractors, certifying that work requested is performed as expected while conforming to PAD safety standards. Become one of the in-house experts on both the facility and our production operations Serve as the gatekeeper of all control and electrical drawings and primary electrical/controls resource. Maintain all PLC/HMI programs for compounding, packaging and building systems, edit and write PLC programs, create/modify HMI screens, and perform basic electrical troubleshooting and functional modifications.
