Temporary Description
Job Type: Full-time - Temporary (See Work Period below) Location: Vancouver, WA or Portland, OR, or Chinook, WA (all geographical areas suggested) Golden Wolf: Join us in an exciting role overseeing the renovation of the historic Columbia River Pile Dikes! We're seeking an experienced Construction Quality Assurance Professional for a temporary full-time position with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Vancouver Office. Project Duration This position is full-time temporary work that falls within the In-Water Work Window (IWWW) July 1st-November 30th, 2025 July 1st-November 30th, 2026 Approximately 50 hours per week. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct daily quality assurance inspections of construction activities * Monitor contractor's quality control and safety programs * Prepare and submit detailed digital inspection reports through USACE systems, including photo documentation and proper formatting protocols * Ensure compliance with environmental requirements and permits * Verify construction accuracy against plans and specifications * Participate in quality control meetings and safety oversight Work Environment: * Perform daily work onboard a construction barge * Office onboard the barge will be provided for efficient work performance * Willingness to work in adverse conditions for extended periods, which may include inclement weather.
