Job Description
Pays $58,240.00 Per Year Allied Universal is looking to hire an Account Manager. Account Manager jobs at Allied Universal are accountable for day-to-day operations of an assigned account, including hiring, training, disciplining and terminating staff. Build, improve and maintain relationships with clients and employees: develop & retain staff; coordinate needed support services and solve problems to effectively run the account. Meet or exceed financial & operational goals; provide quality customer service. Maintains or oversees maintenance of weekly operating schedules and completion of payroll for assigned security personnel. Provides after-hour emergency response as required. To support and ensure success in this role, we provide a comprehensive, week-long management onboarding course designed to provide best practices, tools and guidance. RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS:

Pefer a four (4) year degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration or related field. At a minimum an associate's degree which will count as (2) of the five (5) years required experience - Previous Contract Security, facilities management, military or law enforcement experience
- Minimum of 4 years experience in one or a combination of
- Military (Career/Military Police/Military Elite Forces)
- Law enforcement (Police Academy Graduate)
- Corrections
- Documented, formal, leadership training through one of the disciplines or accredited university programs (PLDC/BNCOC/ANCOC, OBC/OAC, LEELP).
- Experience as a current security supervisor assigned to the Wells Fargo account, or at a facility requiring a high level of security similar to existing positions
- A bachelor's or higher degree from an accredited college or university in a security related field such as: Criminal Justice, Security Administration, Homeland Security, or Fire Science. Such degree will count as two (2) of the four (4) years required experience and a master's degree will count as three (3) of the four (4) years required experience.
- Documented instructor certification through a certifying agency (Unarmed Guard Trainer, CPR).
- At least two (2) years of business management/operations/supervisory experience (depending on size/scope of client).
- Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others and employ coaching and problem- solving techniques.
Previous formal training in management, human relations, interpersonal communication skills, labor and criminal laws, and emergency response. - Proven experience with management/evaluation/development/motivation of staff
- Ability to develop and grow customer relationships
- Previous leadership experience with campus security
- Proven interpersonal, written, and communication skills
- Experience in hiring, developing, motivating and retaining quality staff
- Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented management environment with the ability to work independently
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, complex situations, a diverse team of employees and client requirements on an ongoing basis
- Previous payroll, billing and scheduling experience preferred
- Ability to work in a team-oriented management environment while having an entrepreneurial attitude
Previous formal training in management, human relations, interpersonal communication skills, labor and criminal laws, and emergency response. An ideal candidate will
- Be capable of working a flexible Schedule available weekend as needed
- Have experience as a security officer in a high security location such as a nuclear, TSA screening, pharmaceutical, or medical facility.
