    Job Description

    World of Concrete (WOC), the largest annual international trade show dedicated to the commercial concrete and masonry construction industry, is seeking a dynamic Account Executive to drive event sales and cultivate strong client relationships. This role is critical in meeting and exceeding revenue targets by engaging a diverse portfolio of clients, from large key accounts to small and mid-sized businesses.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Drive event sales across multiple product offerings and revenue streams, consistently meeting and exceeding assigned targets.
    • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through customer intelligence, industry event attendance, and market analysis.
    • Implement strategic sales initiatives and programs tailored to key industry demographics, leveraging customer feedback and market insights.
    • Negotiate effectively, proactively overcoming objections and securing long-term exhibitor commitments.
    • Collaborate with the Sales Director and cross-functional teams to manage key accounts and optimize floor placement.
    • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and customer activity records in Salesforce to ensure seamless account management.
    • Conduct market research and align sales strategies with industry trends, using calls, emails, and virtual meetings to engage prospects and existing clients.
    • Strengthen industry presence by attending trade shows, networking events, and industry gatherings to stay informed on market developments and maintain credibility.

    Ideal Candidate Profile:

    The ideal candidate is a results-driven sales professional with a passion for event sales and relationship management. They possess strong negotiation skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. This role requires a proactive approach to client engagement and a commitment to driving growth within the WOC portfolio.

    This position is based in the Dallas office and requires in-person collaboration with the sales team.

    Qualifications
    • Minimum of 1 year of sales experience, with a strong preference for event sales experience.
    • Proven ability to identify and understand client needs, effectively negotiate costs and services, and drive value-based sales conversations.
    • Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while demonstrating exceptional time management and organizational skills.
    • Experience utilizing CRM or sales database management tools; proficiency in Salesforce is highly desirable.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence clients and stakeholders at all levels.
    • Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset, capable of working seamlessly with exhibitors and cross-functional internal teams to achieve shared goals.
    • Highly motivated to continuously learn and stay informed on industry trends, products, and market developments to drive sales success.
    • This role is based in the Dallas office and requires in-person collaboration with the team.

    Additional Information

    • Location: Dallas, TX (hybrid)
    • Compensation: $60,000 - $67,000 Base Salary + Commission
