Pay Range: $21.00/hr - $27.81/hr

Purpose Statement / Position Summary

The Accounts Payable Customer Service Representative is responsible for fielding phone calls that come into the department via the main department telephone number and responding to email requests for assistance from internal and external customers. The Customer Service representative will provide resolution, follow-up or appropriate redirection of internal and external customer issues in a prompt and efficient manner. In addition, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for the daily opening and distributing the mail that arrives in the Accounts Payable department. The Customer Service Representative will scan and validate documents to be viewed in Onbase. This position is required to thoroughly understand the departmental policies, processes, and procedures and be able to perform special projects as needed for the Management team.

This position offers the opportunity to work from home (WFH) 2 days a week after all training has been completed.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job

1. Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service to all internal and external customers

2. Ability to use critical thinking to research, review, and follow-up on all Accounts Payable requests.

3. Ability to identify issues in a timely manner and initiate appropriate actions to resolve problems or issues.

4. Opening the Accounts Payable mail daily and distribute as necessary.

5. Responsible for scanning and validating invoices into OnBase within 24 hours of receiving the invoices

6. Assist reviewing check register for accuracy and mailing of checks after each check pay cycle.

7. Responsible for helping to compile accurate and timely data for month and year end accruals.

8. Be at work and be on time

9. Follow company policies, procedures and directives

10. Interact in a positive and constructive manner

11. Prioritize and multitask

12. This position offers the opportunity to work from home (WFH) 2 days a week once training has been completed.

*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities.
