Salary Range $75,000-$120,000 DOE

Position Summary

Tactical Air is currently seeking a Facility Security Officer (FSO) to execute our Industrial Security Program. Will support the facility clearance, personnel clearances, classified material receipt & handling, and ID cards/badging across multiple contracts, locations & business segments. Will also serve as the company's Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO) responsible for the training & execution of the program. Will interact with all levels of employees, management, & government agencies to certify contract security compliance with all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program. Potential career progression based on performance to include COMSEC Manager and classified Information System administration.

Responsibilities



  • Lead & administer the company's FCL, PCL, ITP, & OPSEC Programs.
  • Lead as the Official ITP & fulfill all training & reporting requirements.
  • Assist w/ the company's Communications Security (COMSEC) Program receiving & shipping CCI, complete inventories & audits, & interact w/ subcontractors, vendors, & customers regarding COMSEC transactions.
  • Administer day-to-day personnel processing, program reviews, document control system, audits & self-inspections, violation investigations & reports, receipt/transmission/destruction records for classified material, mail logs, visit certs, & other security related duties.
  • Provide security support for Contractor Deliverable Requirements List (CDRL) & contract execution.
  • Perform the daily security & clearance matters including processing of CACs, access nomination packages, courier letters, visit requests, security training & briefs, foreign travel, & receiving visitors.
  • Liaison w/ external security agencies.
  • Update & execute the security Standard Practice and Procedures & other security plans.
  • Initiate & maintain classified IS Authorization to Operate & associated System Security Plans, policies, & Incident Response Plans.


Requirements



  • Bachelors degree with 3-5 years of experience as an FSO: in lieu of degree a HS Diploma/GED with 8+ years of relevant experience may be considered.
  • Experience in assisting a classified IS security program.
  • Thorough working knowledge of the NISPOM, other relevant DoD security guidance & the Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) standards.
  • Demonstrated use of security databases ex: DISS, NBIS, eAPP, ISFD, NISS, & DIBNet.
  • Experience creating & conducting initial security briefings, debriefings, indoctrinations, pre/post foreign travel briefings & refresher briefings, as appropriate.
  • Strong PC-based computer skills using Microsoft Office, SmartSheets, & virtual office/cloud-based file sharing.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • U.S. Citizenship with a current & active DoD Secret clearance, TS eligible.


Desired Experience/Skills



  • Experience developing & implementing Operational Security (OPSEC) Programs & plans.
  • Industrial Security Professional (ISP) Certification.
  • Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO experience.
  • Prior aviation industry or federal contractor experience.


Physical Demands



  • Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds (with assistance, if required).
  • Regularly ascend/descend stairs and/or ladders.
  • Able to drive & travel


Work Authorization



  • Must be lawfully eligible to work in the United States & complete a U.S. government I-9 Form.
  • Tactical Air Support is a Drug & Alcohol-Free Workplace. Pre-employment, random, or for cause drug/alcohol testing (including for marijuana) required.
  • Occasional aircraft hangar or warehouse environment w/ exposure to loud noises, fumes from engines & chemicals, unpredictable climate (hot/cold), & electrical shock, or trip or slip hazards.
  • Specific work hours determined by operational, departmental, or contractual requirements.
  • Occasional evening, weekend, holiday, & overtime work as required.
  • Occasional travel to various work sites throughout the U.S. as required.
