Position Title: CNC Programmer - 2nd Shift Wage: $28.00 - $33.00/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 2:00pm - 12:00am (Monday - Thursday) As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs to manufacture production and prototype parts according to engineered specifications. You will also ensure the proper care of CNC equipment and collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals. Apply to this 2nd shift opportunity in Earth City, MO today! CNC Programmer Responsibilities: - Plan, program, test, and revise G-code programs for CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment using software such as MasterCAM - Fabricate production parts based on engineering drawings and specifications - Organize and maintain G-code files and file structure for efficient access and updates - Maintain setup sheets, notes, and fixtures to ensure consistent and repeatable CNC manufacturing - Fabricate prototype parts as directed - Test for fit and function of prototype assemblies - Recommend changes to design to allow for machinability and function - Create or update machine shop drawings to meet machine shop requirements - Strive for continuous improvement in systems and processes to enhance quality and efficiency Requirements for CNC Programmer: - At least five years of experience as a CNC Programmer - High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training in CNC programming preferred - Proficient in CAD/CAM programming and operation of CNC machinery - Strong networking and communication skills - Creative and innovative - Good analytical, organization, and time management skills - Self-starter with good organizational skills - Able to function in a deadline driven environment - Able to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once - Strong attention to detail korea.willingham@qpsemployment.com IND999 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
