Machinist Location: Stratford, CT Job ID: #70663 Pay Range: $30-40 Job Description Key Responsibilities: You will set up and operate various types of CNC machinery such as mills or lathes, or conventional machines such as mills, lathes, or grinders. Machine complex parts to exacting blueprint tolerances, meticulously meet specified requirements, ensuring the quality of finished parts. Collaborate with a supportive team to ensure high-quality production and timely delivery. Perform other duties as assigned to meet manufacturing goals. Basic Qualifications: Must be able to read and interpret blueprints. Independently program, edit programs, set up and run CNC or conventional machines. Desired Skills: Possess a certification from the National Institute of Metalworking Skills (NIMS) Graduation from a state approved journeyman program or receipt of an associate's degree in machine technology. Receipt of a machine technology certification of completion with a minimum of 1500 hours training.
