Pomp's Tire Service is currently hiring a Retread Manager. This employee will be working together with the Store Manager, Warehouse Mgr., Director of Sales and Operations, Director of Manufacturing and the Vice President of Manufacturing the Retread Manager oversees the retread operations, personnel, health and safety compliance, and overall performance of an assigned Pomp's retread location. Physical Demands:
- Frequent standing, twisting, and bending; occasional sitting
- Must be able to visually inspect tires, tire flow and equipment in order to assess potential problems
- Regularly lift, upright, push, or move 50 -100 pounds; occasionally upright, push, or move 100+ pounds
Job Requirements:
- 2 or more years management experience preferred
- 5 or more years of Bandag retread experience strongly preferred or equivalent
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows Office, BASys system, Teams, Excel, Outlook and IOS
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of personal and business information
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers and co-workers
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment-using voltmeter, pressure gauges, and make mechanical repairs to spec.
- Knows all the Equipment Maintenance needs of NDT's, Buffers, Builders and Chambers
- Maintains safe driving record and able to attend all company training events
- Daily working with hands, troubleshooting equipment and able to make necessary maintenance repairs
