Work type: On Campus Location: Normal, Illinois Title: Undergraduate Teaching Assistant in Economics Fall/Spring Job Summary An Undergraduate Teaching Assistant assists with a variety of tasks ranging from office hours and proctoring exams to grading homework assignments, doing basic library research, and other curricular and co-curricular activities. UTA's may also be required to provide weekly tutoring services to 100-level Economics courses including ECO 101, 102, 103, and 138. The UTA's specific duties are determined on a case-by-case basis. Additional Information Student employees are eligible to participate in the University's 403(b) Plan. More information can be found here. Pay Rate $15/hour Required Qualifications -Economics major required. Preferred Qualifications -Highest consideration given to those applicants with at least a Junior standing and a strong academic record in a range of economics courses.
