Data Scientist Internal Audit

We use digital data as the fuel to propel us beyond our competition. As a Data Scientist in Internal Audit, you'll work on projects and internal audits that develop and perform complex analyses using Big Data technologies. You'll be constantly on the lookout for new modeling techniques, evolving technologies, and emerging industry trends so that we can stay ahead of the game. Your work will help us meet our customers' needs and make it even easier for them to do business with us.

• Performing analyses to find actionable insights.

• Supporting data focused internal audits over Corporate Finance functions.

• Ensuring data quality and promoting process improvement.

• Developing actionable and timely insights using data.

You have strong analytical skills, and are eager to work in a collaborative environment. Developing resolutions to complex problems, using your sharp judgment to develop methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria allows you to deliver solutions that make a huge impact. You're able to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences, and you take pride in your ability to share your considerable knowledge with your peers. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are able to interact with various partners and cross functional teams to implement data science driven business solutions.

You'll need to have:

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of relevant work experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.

• Four or more years of work experience.

• Experience as a data scientist, analyst, or statistical modeler.

• Experience with Data Warehousing or Teradata SQL.

• Experience with visualization tools, like Tableau.

• Experience transforming data and insights into recommendations to key business stakeholders and senior leadership.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Knowledge of big data tools (SQL, Spark, and Splunk) ie. manipulating mining data from these systems.

• Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
