Job Summary Are you ready to make a lasting impact on aviation infrastructure across the Northeastern USA? We're looking for a passionate and innovative Senior CAD/ BIM Designer to lead the way in transforming design processes for airport terminals, airfield infrastructure, and support facilities.

What You'll Do:

  • Develops CAD plans and details for various aviation infrastructure projects, including terminal expansions, taxiways, runways, and support structures.

  • Assists in CAD/BIM project setup and ensures adherence to aviation-specific design standards and protocols.

  • Independently meets CAD/BIM deliverables and assists project managers in the preparation of bid and construction documents.

  • Develops and expands expertise in approved Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) applications for aviation projects.

  • Ensures accurate and efficient integration of CAD/BIM technology with other construction and design software for aviation infrastructure.

  • Maintains project electronic files and archives in compliance with company and client requirements.

  • Prepares as-built plans and documentation for aviation facilities and airfield projects.

  • Provides guidance in CAD/BIM techniques and best practices to other technicians and junior staff.

  • Implements BIM protocols and systems on new aviation projects to enhance collaboration and efficiency.

  • Creates and implements BIM documentation and workflow processes specific to aviation projects.

  • Coordinates and oversees work with production centers in various locations to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.

  • Other related tasks as required.

What You'll Bring:

  • 3-8+ years of applicable experience, preferably in aviation or transportation infrastructure projects.

  • At least a 2-year diploma from an accredited college is preferred.

  • Proficiency in AutoDesk and Bentley software products in an engineering environment, particularly in the production of aviation-related structural plans.

  • Knowledge of MS Office, 3D modeling, and imaging software, as well as experience with computer networking, hardware/software installations, configurations, and troubleshooting.

  • Experience with additional CAD software such as Revit, Tekla, OpenRoads, and OpenBuildings is desirable.

  • Strong client-focused mindset, dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions for aviation infrastructure.

  • Commitment to innovation by implementing new and effective ways to address aviation engineering challenges.

  • High level of integrity, ensuring ethical, fair, and sustainable project execution.

  • Demonstrated experience collaborating within a diverse and inclusive team to achieve technical excellence.
