Assembler

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Assembler will assist in the manufacturing of medical products by assembling various components using a variety of tools, fixtures, and test equipment.

KEY ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform assembly tasks while meeting productivity requirements and maintaining high product quality.
  
  
  
  
• Perform visual inspection on each part as it is being assembled.
  
  
  
  
• Use a variety of tools to assemble and/ or package products.
  
  
  
  
• Supply accurate and legible documentation.
  
  
  
  
• Understand and follow quality procedures every time. It is the employee's responsibility to ask questions if they are not 100% clear on procedures. (*Always remember these procedures are in place to ensure the safety of the patients on whom these medical devices are used.)
  
  
  
  
• Follow all guidelines and rules for working in a clean room environment. This includes following the gowning procedure, covering hair in a hairnet, and wearing personal protective equipment as appropriate.
  
  
  
  
• Come to work with a positive attitude and focus on completing the task at hand.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
  
  
  
  
• Ability to problem-solve and think creatively
  
  
  
  
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently on assigned duties
  
  
  
  
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments.
  
  
  
  

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals in English.
