A Day In The Life
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Lead Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Python, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies. A strong grasp of both front-end and back-end development, along with leadership skills to guide and mentor a team of developers, is essential. Experience with DevOps practices will be an added advantage.

As a Lead Engineer you will:

  • Lead and Mentor: Guide a team of developers in delivering high-quality, scalable solutions. Act as a mentor for junior and mid-level developers, providing technical leadership and best practices.
  • Full Stack Development: Design and implement both front-end and back-end components of web applications. Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Python and other relevant technologies.
  • Microservices Architecture: Architect and implement scalable microservices solutions, ensuring they are maintainable, secure, and performant.
  • Cloud Technologies: Deploy, monitor, and scale applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Integrate cloud-native services for improved application performance and scalability.
  • Code Quality & Best Practices: Enforce coding standards and best practices. Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and security.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other cross-functional teams to define and implement software solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate new technologies, tools, and processes to improve development efficiency and product quality.
  • DevOps Good DevOps knowledge to build CI/CD pipelines, improve deployment processes, and monitor system health.

What We Need From You

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. (Equivalent work experience may also be considered.) Pref
  • 7-9 years * Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. * Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline implementation and management. * Security Best Practices for both front-end and back-end development.
  • Ability to drive change
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize work - both project based and day-to-day operations
  • Ability to lead and own projects and resolve technical process changes.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and excellent time management skills.
  • Effective problem-solving and issue resolution capabilities.
  • Experience in problem solving, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

Physical and Environmental RequirementsThe physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of the job, the associate is required on a daily basis to analyze and interpret data, communicate, and remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the work day and frequently access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The associate is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The associate must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.

Travel Requirements
10% Periodic travel may be required.
