Salary Statement
Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $68,750.00/Yr. - USD $114,600.00/Yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
Description
Coordinating and providing daily support of DCGS-MC systems for Regional Intelligence Training Center (RITC) 29 Palms, to include the following project tasking requirements:
- System upgrades and problem reporting, technical support and assistance, training, system administration, technical reports, system troubleshooting, removal and replacement of faulty components, and analyzing complex local and wide area network systems.
- Providing support in special testing events to include Field User Valuations, Validation and Verification (V&V), Developmental Testing (DT) and Operational Testing (OT)
- Providing system network assistance to identified MCISR-E system configurations, site integration, site installation, and operations and maintenance of Local Area Networks / Wide Area Networks
- Assisting in the provision of over-the-shoulder, Remedial, New Equipment, Unit Sustainment, and Classroom Training on system network, system administration or system operation as required
- Acting as company contact in the field with the customer and contractor personnel, exercising a high degree of tact, diplomacy, and mature judgment, conforming to company policy directions
- Supporting system end users through verbal and written correspondence and site visits as required
- Recommending modifications to systems based on observance of real-time system operations, environmental concerns, and interaction with other systems
- Analyzing, testing, and troubleshooting complex local and wide area network systems
- Installing and configuring workstations and servers
- Resolving difficult interoperability problems to obtain operation access to Wide Area Networks
- Providing software and hardware technical support to users as needed
- Performing Quality Assurance testing of System Software Releases
- Conducting intermediate and advanced level training for system end users to enable them to set up, operate, and maintain their specific systems and applications
- Providing feedback to hardware and software designers and developers in regard to anomalies encountered during training, end user concerns, and system compatibilities
- Preparing special reports and presentations pertinent to provided services and field operations
- Recommending and scheduling repairs
- Providing the RITC with instructor services

Requirements
- 5-7 years of military experience or working directly with related military systems
- Technical Training in Marine Corps Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Enterprise (MCISR-E) Systems Administration, C4ISR Network Administration, or MCISR-E Hardware Maintenance.
- Eight or more years of direct experience supporting Distributed Common Ground Surface System - Marine Corps (DCGS-MC) programs, projects, or initiatives with:
- Demonstrated expertise with DCGS-MC during exercises, training events, and while forward deployed
- Demonstrated Training and Instruction experience in a class-room and field environment
- Demonstrated ability to provide specialized knowledge and skill of the operation, technical processes, and maintenance requirements for DCGS-MC to include network connectivity, administration and advanced operational techniques
- Demonstrated ability to provide system network support to DCGS-MC configuration, site integration, site installation, and operations and maintenance of Local and Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN)
- Demonstrated ability to provide system administration support to DCGS-MC focusing on operational readiness
- Demonstrated ability to provide system operations support to DCGS-MC as the primary system operator or while providing over-the-shoulder support
- Demonstrated technical knowledge sufficient to conduct New Equipment Training, Unit Training, and Classroom Instruction ensuring operators, maintainers, and system administrators understand how to use and support the DCGS-MC to maximize operational capability and minimize system downtime
- Possess a current DoD Top Secret security clearance with Sensitive Comparted Information eligibility
- Current CompTIA Security Plus Certification or the ability to obtain within three (3) months of employment
Desired Skills
- 10 years of military experience working directly with DCGS-MC Programs and systems
- Extensive experience providing Technical, System Administration, System Operation, System Network, and System Maintenance support and/or Training on multiple DCGS-MC related systems to garrison/deployed/deploying Marine Corps units
- At least one (1) successful MCISR-E related deployment with a Marine Expeditionary Unit or to a hostile location in support of Marine Corps operations
- Demonstrated experience providing formal Periods of Instruction (POI) on DCGS-MC systems
- Demonstrated ability to provide Level 1 Helpdesk Support
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the Marine Corps' Systems Approach to Training and Marine Corps Order 1553.1b
- In-depth understanding of Marine Corps Intelligence operations and analysis
- Bachelor's degree in a related field

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL
