Overview

Join our dynamic cross-functional team on the front lines of transformation across the Corporate Bank (CB) Trust & Agency Services (TAS) domain. Credit Risk Information Technology (IT) is in a multi-year journey of upgrading their technology stack, transforming their way of working and facilitating the streamlining and automation of critical business processes.

We are looking for strong Java developers with experience or aptitude to learn data processing technologies to enhance our team's technical capabilities. You will be using various Cloud-based infrastructure and components and will need to work together with the team to ensure delivery of data for business needs. This will mean sharing your technical expertise with teammates and being willing to learn and take up tasks with technologies that may not be your primary skill set.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze user requirements and design appropriate data processing solutions that best fit those requirements

  • Work in a cross functional Agile Scrum team to design, develop, test and maintain solutions

  • Ensure that solutions are in line with department and domain architecture strategies and contribute to defining and improving those strategies

  • Help build, maintain and continually implement tests for an automated testing framework that drives integration tests front to back across components

  • Work collaboratively - sharing knowledge and helping teammates in your areas of expertise

Skills You'll Need

  • Enterprise development with Java, using Spring or Spring Boot, and Structured Query Language (SQL)

  • Familiarity with and/or demonstrated aptitude to learn Kafka and Cloud technologies (we're using Google Cloud),

  • Understanding and experience designing and building REST microservices as well as understanding of distributed systems development and performance optimization

  • Experience with architectural design patterns, highly optimized, low latency and massively scalable platforms

  • Hands on experience with all layers of the development stack, including unit and automated tests, to be able to collaboratively deliver front-to-back solutions

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker and knowledge of Agile methodology

  • Excellent problem-solving skills in a distributed, multi-technology ecosystem,

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate openly and effectively with peers, managers and clients both in co-located and globally distributed teams

  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (or development) (CI/CD) configuration setup

  • Desire to improve your best practice development techniques

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $85,000 to $120,750.Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
