Nestle R&D Center, Inc. seeks an Associate Sensory Panel Testing in Solon, Ohio Duties: Responsible for leading the descriptive sensory panel on a daily basis with support from the Consumer Sensory Insights Specialists, and Technicians. This includes panel planning and training, panelist performance tracking, development of sensory glossaries, overseeing data collection, and completing sensory data quality checks. Assist Consumer Sensory Insights Specialists with basic data analysis, report building, and results presentation, as applied to the business. Work closely with Sensory Panelists, Sensory Technicians, Consumer Sensory Insights Specialists, and other R&D and market associates to provide all sensory panel-related support to the business on a timely manner. Administer internal and external panels, including screening of new panel members, training panelists, creating sensory references, and monitoring panel performance. Planning, scheduling, and running assigned panel sessions. Assist technicians as needed to prepare and serve samples to the panel according to instructions. Develop tasting procedures and methodologies with Consumer Sensory Insights Specialist. Summarize and report results. Domestic travel required up to 10% of time. Telework is available up to 2 days per week. Requirements: Requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Food Science, Sensory Science, or related field. Job requires experience in each of the following: Any amount of experience developing and training sensory trained panelists for descriptive profiling. Any amount of experience working with sensory statistics. Any amount of experience in development of product sensory specifications for quality control. Any amount of experience working with sensory & statistical software including XL Stat and EyeQuestion. Any amount of experience in Food product development. Any amount of experience in development of sensory documentation such as sensory glossaries and evaluation protocols. Domestic travel required up to 10% of time.
