GENERAL FUNCTION:

The Institutional Sales Analyst is primary responsible for partnering with the regional sales team in sales, servicing and performing marketing tasks. The Institutional Sales Analyst will develop a deep understanding of investment grade fixed income securities, generate, and maintain a profitable distribution of fixed income products in assigned territory through prospecting and sales of investment products to institutional clients.

The individual will be responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Develop the concepts of accounting, finance, economics, and capital markets needed to support fixed income sales and trading.
* Assist Institutional Sales team in activities that drive new revenue, acquire new clients, deepen existing client relationships, and enhances the Institutional Brokerage client experience.

* Participates in One Bank activities to identify opportunities with new and existing bank customers.

* Become proficient with Bloomberg & Clearwater Analytics.

* Develop working knowledge of banking services that may be applicable to clients and prospects.
* Create and maintain prospect profiles (including updates in IRIS, FI Client Portal, etc...)

* Represent department at seminars, trade shows and industry forums.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
* Bachelor's degree required; degree in Accounting or Finance or business-related field preferred
* Demonstrates ability to effectively collaborate and function in a team-oriented environment

* Exhibit strong work ethic and passion for excellence while conducting self in a professional manner

* Demonstrates strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills

* Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7,63 license required

* Proficient in all Microsoft Office software

* Willingness to travel
