Make banking a Fifth Third better GENERAL FUNCTION: The Institutional Sales Analyst is primary responsible for partnering with the regional sales team in sales, servicing and performing marketing tasks. The Institutional Sales Analyst will develop a deep understanding of investment grade fixed income securities, generate, and maintain a profitable distribution of fixed income products in assigned territory through prospecting and sales of investment products to institutional clients. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Develop the concepts of accounting, finance, economics, and capital markets needed to support fixed income sales and trading. * Participates in One Bank activities to identify opportunities with new and existing bank customers. * Become proficient with Bloomberg & Clearwater Analytics. * Develop working knowledge of banking services that may be applicable to clients and prospects. * Represent department at seminars, trade shows and industry forums.
