Summary

As an ABAP Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining SAP applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze business requirements, and implement solutions to enhance and optimize SAP functionalities. The role requires strong programming skills in ABAP, a deep understanding of SAP modules, and the ability to work on various SAP projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The SAP ABAP Developer is responsible to:

• Develop and maintain SAP programs using ABAP programming language.
• Customize and enhance SAP applications based on business requirements.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing ABAP code.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to integrate SAP modules and third-party systems.
• Design and implement interfaces to connect SAP with external applications.
• Identify and implement performance enhancements in ABAP programs.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and optimization.
• Create technical specifications and documentation for ABAP programs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of coding, testing, and implementation activities.
• Develop and execute unit tests for ABAP programs.
• Collaborate with testing teams to ensure the quality and reliability of developed solutions.
• Provide support for SAP applications, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.

Education and/or Experience

Required

Minimum 3 years of ABAP experience including:

• Cross functional experience (MM/FI/SD/WM)
• CDS Views
• Activation and Development of Fiori Tiles
• ALV
• BAPI
• BADI
• SMARTFORMS

Preferred Experience:

• Designing and developing integration strategies with 3^rd party systems
• Monitoring and troubleshooting of data interfaces
• Monitoring and troubleshooting of EDI processes in SAP ECC6.0
• Experience with TrueCommerce Transaction Manager helpful but not required
• Experience with SAP Enhancement Framework
