Sourcing Specialist

Merakey is seeking a strongSourcing Specialistto support the Talent Acquisition team.

This role will be expected to build active candidate flow and pipelines to meet overall recruiting goals in collaboration with other team members and Hiring managers. Success in this role will be determined by your ability to be tech-savvy, be responsive and decisive, manage against performance goals, anticipate deadlines, and maintain exceptional organizational skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Partner with division Recruitment teams to understand job requirements to source the most sought-after talent on the market
• Build and maintain an active and robust pipeline of prospective candidates for current and future job openings
• Maintain accurate and updated records in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Candidate Relationship Management System (CRM)
• Support recruitment teams with marketing and mass communications for hiring events
• Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc. and other sourcing strategies to find top talent
• Conduct initial pre-screens and interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit - place in pipeline in CRM based on candidates interests and preferences.
• Provide regular updates and reports on sourcing activities, candidate pipelines, and progress to the talent acquisition team and hiring managers
• Keep abreast of industry trends, recruitment best practices, and emerging sourcing tools to improve sourcing strategies continuously
• Ability to partner and support recruiting efforts, as business needs shift.

Skills and Abilities:

• Experience souring talent and building proactive pipelines
• Experience working in LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed resume database, google, online networking platforms and crafting Boolean search strings
• Excellent research, sourcing, and networking skills - ability to build talent pipelines without an open requisition in an ATS.
• Experience working on a Talent Acquisition team as a Coordinator, Sourcer, or Recruiter
• Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques, including online search, Boolean search, social media platforms, and professional networks
• Work effectively both independently and collaboratively within fast-paced, diverse cross-functional teams
• Metrics driven or want to learn how data can improve talent acquisition and candidate funnels
• Organizational skills combined with high energy and a sense of urgency are a must
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for working with a variety of teams

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition function
• Strong technical background in proactively searching for qualified talent
