Part of the Division of Student Affairs, University Housing consists of nearly 2.8 million square feet of facilities and is home to more than 9,000 students. The department employs 220 full-time staff members, 21 graduate assistants and 565 undergraduate student workers. As a self-supporting auxiliary, University Housing operates a $59 million budget derived only from student housing fees and other non-state sources.
In support of its mission to provide comfortable, affordable and secure housing options where the academic success and personal growth of residents are encouraged and supported, University Housing engages staff members in competency-based training and students in curriculum-based engagement focused on community building, interpersonal skills, social awareness and responsibility, and well-being. |

Position Summary |
The Coordinator for Greek Life Facilities & Chapter Support is responsible for supporting the management and development of the Greek Life community by focusing on facility operations, advisement, leadership development, and administrative support to ensure the success and growth of fraternities and sororities. This role includes the day-to-day administration, supervision, and management of Greek Park, serving as the primary contact for all Greek Park-related issues. The Coordinator oversees facility management services, coordinates educational programs, and ensures compliance with fire and life safety processes for all on-campus fraternities and sororities.
In addition to facility management, the Coordinator serves as a Standards of Excellence coach, working closely with chapters to provide coaching and support for their development. This role also includes direct advisement of the Order of Omega Greek honor society, fostering leadership opportunities and recognition within the community. Regular on-site visits to Greek Park facilities and the ability to respond to after-hours issues in a reasonable timeframe are essential. This position requires a balance of housing oversight and leadership support, along with weekend and evening availability, and reports to the Assistant Director for Greek Life. |
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies |
Knowledge of Greek-Lettered Organizations: Strong understanding of the culture, traditions, and operations of Greek-lettered organizations, including governance, recruitment, chapter operations, and programming. Familiarity with national organization policies and campus-based advising practices is preferred.
Relationship-Building Skills: Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective, professional working relationships with diverse stakeholders, including students, faculty, staff, alumni, national organizations, and house corporations.
Communication Skills: Proficiency in writing, public speaking, and interpersonal communication, with experience in engaging with students individually and in groups to provide support, advisement, and leadership development.
Technological Proficiency: Ability to effectively communicate using virtual tools and technology to ensure accessibility and timely information sharing.
Crisis Response Skills: Capability to respond promptly and appropriately to both routine and crisis situations, ensuring student safety and continuity of operations within Greek housing and broader community contexts. |

Facility Operations
- Direct and execute the recruitment, training, supervision, and evaluation of four Greek Park House Directors in collaboration with chapter leadership.
- Develop and update materials needed for the operation of Greek houses, including house director policies and procedures manuals.
- Serve as the primary liaison with University Housing staff to address maintenance, custodial, and security concerns. Assist in the identification and development of immediate and future plans for facility maintenance and improvements as authorized by university personnel.
- Implement and ensure compliance with emergency response and life safety protocols as outlined by University Housing.
- Coordinate all Greek Park house opening and closing activities, safety protocols (e.g. safety drills), and facility improvements.
- Coordinate overall key management in Greek Park houses, including inventorying, tracking, and replacing as necessary.
- Maintain accurate billing records for on-campus Greek houses and submit any charges, such as, rent, parlor fees, utilities, maintenance repairs, and damages to the appropriate individuals.
- Respond to facility-related issues, ensuring prompt and professional resolutions.
- Ensure timelines for notification and submissions as required by the lease occur accordingly. (e.g. rate increases, certificate of insurance submissions, summer occupancy notices)
- Serve as a university representative and liaison to House Corporations with leases in Greek Park.

- Serve as a Standards of Excellence Coach to a portfolio of 10 chapters across all four governing councils (IFC, MGC, NPHC, and Panhellenic).
- Serve as primary advisor to the Order of Omega honor society and its executive board, supporting recruitment, membership selection, and programming initiatives of the Order of Omega.
- Facilitate leadership training programs, retreats, and officer development initiatives.
- Promote interaction among all Greek organizations to emphasize the common Greek experience.
- Develop and implement programs on risk management, facility operations, and chapter leadership.
- Assist in the planning and execution of annual Greek Housing meeting for House Corporation Boards.
