Job Title: Inspector/Quality Inspector (Aerospace/Automotive) Location: 16666 Von Karman Ave. Irvine, CA, 92606 Shift: 1^st 6AM-3PM Duration: 6 Months Pay Rate: $28-$32/hr. on w2 without benefits Job Description: Maintain accurate acceptance and rejection records and certification systems as required by specifications. Inspect parts, tools, or instruments to determine acceptance or rejection, identifying defects and preparing documentation. Perform semi-complex inspections on machined parts using various measuring instruments and adapt inspection setups for sample parts, forgings, and castings. Interpret specifications, blueprints, and technical documents to assess acceptability, using mathematics for dimension and tolerance conversions. Conduct calibration on semi-complex measuring and test equipment, setting up conditions and documenting calibration intervals. Perform nondestructive testing, including daily checks and equipment setup, while ensuring compliance with safety rules and maintaining a FOD-free work area. Required Education: Experience with First Article inspection AS9102 (Aerospace) Experience with mechanical inspection and GD&T knowledge. Experience with reviewing supplier certs (Material certs, special process certs, test reports, etc). Preferred experience of CMM operations, background in dimensioning and tolerancing per ANSI Y 14.5.
