Your Role With Us:As a Medical Office Lead for Diabetes Education, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the clinic's daily operations while ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. Your duties will include collaborating with leadership to meet operational needs, coordinating clinic schedules, and facilitating department meetings. You will oversee the functionality of the electronic medical record (EMR) system, assisting staff with scheduling, registration, and MyChart use. Additionally, you will manage daily staff tasks, assist with staff scheduling, and ensure that front office operations run smoothly, including patient check-ins, appointment scheduling, and verifying insurance and billing information. You will be responsible for maintaining inventory, managing front office supplies, and ensuring seamless patient flow with minimal wait times. As a resource for the front office team, you will provide training, backup support, and feedback to leadership on job performance. Your expertise in LEAN methodologies will help optimize clinic efficiency, and you will also assist with new employee onboarding and training.
