The COORDINATOR - OR SCHEDULING & BILLING




  • The Surgical Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for the scheduling of all surgical cases for the Main Operating Room, OR Minor Procedures Unit and the Post Anesthesia Care Unit.
  • The Surgical Data Coordinator performs continuous, efficient manipulation of schedule, communication to assure appropriate supplies / equipment are available, and reviews and/or produces daily OR schedules.
  • This position is also responsible for post-op data entry and review.



Work Location: Bethesda, M.D.

Hours:




  • PRN (as needed Monday-Friday)
  • 8:00am - 4:30pm



EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES:

High school diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:




  • Two years of related experience in a health care setting required
  • Experience with automated systems required; previous automated scheduling experience preferred
  • Previous experience in an operating room or endoscopy clinical setting preferred (surgical technician, nurse, etc.)



Salary Range: Minimum 23.00 per hour - Maximum 23.00 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
