Job Description: The Sr. Analyst II, Cloud Cost is responsible for analyzing cloud spending and providing actionable insights for optimizing cloud resource usage. Analyze cloud spending patterns to identify trends and areas for high impact cost reduction. Generate detailed cost reports using AWS Cost Explorer and other cost management tools. Provide actionable insights and recommendations for optimizing cloud resource usage. Influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cost-saving strategies. Communicate findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders within the enterprise on complex matters in the organization. Monitor and report on cloud cost performance against budget and forecasts. Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position. Education Required: Bachelor's degree. Or, any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position. Experience Required: 6-8+ years of experience in cloud computing, data analysis, or a related field. Experience with AWS Cost Explorer and other cloud cost management tools. License/Certification Required: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner: Provides foundational knowledge of AWS cloud concepts and billing. AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate: Demonstrates ability to design cost-efficient AWS solutions. CompTIA Cloud+: Offers a vendor-neutral certification that covers cloud computing principles. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of:Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools. Solid understanding of AWS services and cloud cost management principles. Skill in:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
