HTHE JOB: The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, supporting the management team in achieving store objectives, assisting with staff training and development, and ensuring service standards consistently align with departmental and property goals.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Implement cost control measures, including shrink reduction and inventory monitoring, while using good judgment and understanding of store performance to drive financial success and profitability. Foster a highly engaged and effective team through regular observations, coaching, feedback, and recognition. Lead the hiring, training, onboarding, and development of store personnel, ensuring they meet performance goals, adhere to store standards, and comply with policies and procedures. Promote continuous improvement by identifying innovative solutions and embracing calculated risks. Drive results by building strong relationships and following through on commitments. Maintain accountability for store visual standards, merchandising execution, and overall cleanliness of the store and stockroom. Enhance financial performance by refining selling techniques and increasing profitability. Uphold the S.H.O.W. service principles to reinforce company culture and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Must be capable of working independently with little supervision. Proficient in English, both written and verbal, for clear and effective communication. Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently while thriving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Strong organizational skills to meet deadlines and work under time constraints with keen attention to detail. Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with colleagues and guests. Has a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent Has 2+ years of prior relevant experience Has previous retail management experience in a similar resort setting (preferred) Has 3+ years of prior relevant experience in retail, sales or inventory control management (preferred) Is able to work varied shifts including holiday's and weekend's
