The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, founded in 1946, is dedicated to training future veterinarians, providing services to animal owners and veterinarians, and conducting investigations to improve the health of animals as well as people. Requires at least a baccalaureate degree in the field. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.

- Training and/or experience in quality management and/or safety management or closely related areas

- Hands-on work experience in medical, veterinary, or comparable laboratory settings at best under QM-accredited conditions

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with the team

- Outstanding attention to detail

- Willingness to cross-train for additional laboratory procedures as needed

This position will serve as the Quality Manager and Safety Officer for the Tifton Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory, a full service veterinary diagnostic laboratory accredited with the American Association of Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosticians ( AAVLD). Coordination and implementation of the quality system. Oversee safety protocols and procedures.
