Job Description

LOCATION: Mt. Prospect, IL

NTN Bearing Corporation (NBCA) has employment opportunities that will assist qualified candidates to achieve their desired goals. NTN is one of the world's premier bearing manufacturers serving the automotive and industrial markets for the past 100 years. NTN is currently seeking a Customer Support Specialist for our Mt. Prospect office.

The main role of the Customer Support Specialist (CSS) position is to manage and handle customer issues after receipt of an order. This includes but is not limited to: Returns, Payment Disputes, Credits, Debits and Order Discrepancies: receiving and pricing. The CSS is responsible for working internally with the other CSS's, Leads, Supervisor and Managers and Sales support.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Provide Quality Service to Customers
  • Submit and Manage RBA's (Return Bearing Authorization)
  • Submit and Manage Credit/Debit Requests
  • Submit and Manage WHD's (Warehouse Discrepancies)
  • Investigate and close Payment Disputes (PD's)
  • Manage the General Customer Relations email box.
  • Manage the DOL (Distributor-On-Line) log-in requests.
  • Support the IAM BU by Processing Orders
  • Entering and correcting EDI bombs
  • Working and managing various reports
  • Support the IAM BU by successfully answering Live Chats on DOL (Distributor-On-Line) when needed.
  • Any additional responsibilities / tasks as required by Management.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:



  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in business or related field; or three to five years of related experience or some equivalent combination.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with customer focus with the ability to engage and diffuse dissatisfied customers.
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous experience with ERP systems
  • The ability to work individually and as a member the of team.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Basic Excel Skills, JDE Knowledge, product knowledge

Pay Type
Hourly

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. At NTN, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate. Pay range $50K - $55K annually.
