Sales Development Representative This position supports the Sightpath Medical (SPM) Sales Team through research, analysis, lead generation, market intelligence, project completion and maintenance of customer relationships. Why Work at Sightpath Medical?

Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation
- Uncover territory opportunities through research, competitive information and sourcing leads.
- Conduct outbound cold calls, work through specific call lists as determined by assigned projects, and following up with interested parties from tradeshows and/or other marketing events.
- Collaborate with and support Account Executives and Sales Development Manager.
- Maintain, update and utilize the SPM Salesforce CRM system to record activities.
- Learn and understand the three legs of the SPM business model, the industry itself and look for ways to source leads and develop relationships.
- Marketing Support
- Work with Marketing team to develop plans for Territory Based Content Marketing (TBCM) campaigns as directed by Account Executives and Sales Development Manager.
- Sales Support
- Work in cooperation with Account Executives and Sales Development Manager to execute TBCMs related to the promotion of specific territory goals and objectives.
- Act as a liaison between Account Executives, Sales Development Manager, company departments and customers as needed.
- Account Maintenance
- Provide additional support to customers, under the direction of the Account Executives and Sales Development Manager.
- Assist Account Executives and Sales Development Manager with regular service review processes.
Qualifications:
- BS degree or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years inside or outside sales experience or successfully completed a sales internship strongly encouraged.
- Demonstrated analytic and research abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (written and verbal).
- Superior knowledge of accessing and using the Internet, HTML, and MS Office tools.
- Experience in Salesforce.com or CRM preferred.
- Knowledge of social media, content marketing, and search engine optimization preferred.
