Summary

The Lead Customer Service Representative (CSR) position is responsible for providing excellent customer service in a team based environment. Lead CSR responsibilities include navigating patient medical charts, verification of physician orders and insurance authorization, assigning interdisciplinary team members to the patient case, and efficient scheduling of patient assessments/visits, based upon staff availability, and referral activity. Lead CSR demonstrate the following characteristics: teamwork, flexibility, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, excellent problem solving abilities and leadership traits. Lead CSR must effectively communicate complex information to customers, (patient/caregivers, intake personnel, interdisciplinary team members,) respond to frequent questions, handle high phone call volumes, and multitask, all while maintaining professionalism, which is important in all functions of the System, is integral to the success of the Home Health Agency. Other duties as assigned by the Manager/Supervisor of the department.
