Position Summary:
The Decision Support Senior Analyst (Consolidation) is responsible for providing standardized, analytical reporting to drive fact-based, efficient decision making at Nestle USA (NUSA). The role reports directly to the Decision Support Director and supports the end-to-end financial reporting cycle within NUSA, including Period End Close (PEC) reporting and the NUSA Monthly Business Process (MBP) coordination.
Primary Responsibilities:
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Represent NUSA as the PEC subject matter expert and ensure alignment between Decision Support, Corporate Controlling, Divisions and Functions
- Create and publish NUSA sales and profit reports for various levels within the organization (Corporate, Division), including Volume/Mix/Rate (VMR) analyses, sales variance reporting (RIG/Pricing/OG), and cost analyses/bridging.
- Manage VMR report, be the SME for explaining the VMR logic, support analysis across NUSA using the VMR tool
- Suggest and execute improvements on existing standardized PEC and MBP reporting, including transitions to our Power BI powered financial reporting suite (FinSights)
- Collaborate with the Decision Support Integration and Transformation team and IT to further evolve reporting capabilities and drive continued system and process improvements
- Support data integrity efforts by acting as the primarily liaison between NUSA and Master Data
- Support Decision Support FP&A team with monthly Dynamic Forecast submission to Nestle S.A.
- Support NUSA Corporate Decision Support initiatives and perform ad hoc requests for the Decision Support Director, as necessary
Requirements and Minimum Education Level:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance or similar field
- 4+ years prior experience in Accounting / Finance
- Proficiency in English and language of the market (where applicable)
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of Nestle Accounting & Costing Standards and reporting standards/guidelines.
- Good knowledge of business principles and standard methodologies to ensure sustainability of business and support continuous performance improvement
- Understanding of business environment, NUSA product portfolio, and brand profitability
- Working knowledge of finance systems used by NUSA F&C, incl. Oracle and SAP/BW
- Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, VBA preferred)
- PowerBI experience preferred
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) ideal

- Strong analytical skills (quantitative as well as qualitative) including prior experience in variance analysis, data mining and root cause analysis
- Strong attention to detail to maintain the trust of our stakeholders
- Strong ability to optimize and facilitate the application of business processes and data flows to drive business performance transparency
- Clearly and effectively communicate professionally with stakeholders in written and verbal form
- Ideal candidate is results focused, a self-starter with strong initiative, naturally inquisitive, able to think independently and has a desire to make a difference
