TEKsystems is looking to hire several REMOTE Healthcare Data Entry Customer Service Representatives for a large healthcare company out of Indianapolis, IN! *if you have 4+ years experience in data entry and being held to strict metrics, please submit your most updated resume to rsison @ teksystems.com - these resumes will be reviewed first.* Start date: 03/25/2025 Hours: M-F 8a-5p EST, fully remote, 3 month contract-to-hire Must haves: * 1+ year of medical office or healthcare experience where you've had to handle health insurance (must understand copays and deductibles, as well as medical terminology, etc.) * Healthcare experience MUST be back office, not registration, customer service, or scheduling * Must have the ability to navigate through multiple systems at once while on the computer * The Hiring Manager wants a candidate who has "at any time during their career has been responsible for production related to revenue loss" - in our roles, the ideal candidate would have some experience in application submission of high volume and proficiency in Excel. You have to be motivated when there is no one in your presence. Job description: * The Data Entry Customer Service Rep will be responsible for initiating, processing, and completing applications for enrollments of billing providers with government and contracted commercial payers as well as managing the ongoing requirements. * Additionally, the Data Entry Customer Service Rep will apply fundamental knowledge of procedures related to identifying and performing root cause analysis to identify enrollment and claim issues. * Assist in the full range of Provider Enrollment interaction (includes all cations involved in the process of enrolling with a range of payers (Anthem, Medicare, Medicaid, Delegated which includes up to 40 different payers, and risk based payers (RBMC)). * Respond to enrollment research inquiries, and minimize potential revenue delays or losses, actively identifying, researching, and resolving claim issues. * Collaborate with other departments to resolve enrollment and claim issues, monitoring and defined reports and coordinating with applicable departments to ensure accounts receivable is properly stated. * Maintain working knowledge of workflow, systems, and tools used in the department; main function of the job is to pull reports out of systems and tracking it into Excel. Small details missed will cause error in enrollment, meaning missing millions of dollars, thus providers can't write prescriptions, etc., so we need candidates who are detail-oriented. This position provides the equipment, and is currently open due to tons of work and being understaffed.
