Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as an entry-level Warehouse Team Leader supporting the Production Control & Logistics (PC&L) department. The ideal candidate will assist with warehousing and shipping activities, support lot control confirmation, and conduct equipment inspections. This role involves using SAP EWM and MQS to manage warehouse operations efficiently. Additional responsibilities include confirming inventory levels in-house and on-site in the trailer yard, charging equipment as needed, and supporting ad hoc material requests from other departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with warehousing and shipping operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of orders.

  • Utilize SAP EWM and MQS to manage warehouse management systems and maintain accurate records.

  • Support lot control confirmation to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance.

  • Conduct regular equipment inspections and ensure proper maintenance.

  • Confirm inventory levels both in-house and on-site in the trailer yard.

  • Charge equipment as needed to ensure operational readiness.

  • Respond to ad hoc material requests from other departments, ensuring timely fulfillment.

  • Monitor and report on warehouse performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.

  • Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory requirements in all warehouse activities.

Qualifications:

  • Interest in logistics and warehouse operations.

  • Basic knowledge of SAP EWM and MQS is a plus, but not required.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and documentation.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.

Essential to Job Functions - Physical and/or Mental Restrictions:

  • Ability to work for long periods of time while sitting or standing

  • Standing, walking, and bending for the duration of the work day

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds

  • Visual ability to work accurately with detailed information and a computer screen

  • Ability to operate material handling equipment such as: forklifts, hoists, pallet jack, walkie stacker, etc.
