Job Description General Summary Vertex is seeking a talented leader to join our US Diabetes Business Unit to support our aspirations of bringing multiple potentially transformative cell therapies to people living with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D). The Director, US Treatment Center Strategy & Operations will be responsible for the US T1D treatment center approach and plans, and ensuring seamless treatment center readiness. They will play a critical role in refining the treatment center strategy, prioritization, and end-to-end treatment process in the US. The Director will work closely with leaders across Global Commercial, Field Teams, Manufacturing, Trade & Distribution, Legal, and external customers to ensure a seamless operational experience for potential treatment centers. This role will report to the T1D US Head of Marketing and will partner closely with the treatment center field team. The successful candidate will thrive in an environment of rapid change, demonstrate exceptional collaboration and problem-solving skills, and have a strong operational mindset. They need the ability to independently operate under ambiguity, and successfully challenge the status quo to provide innovative and compliant solutions to complex challenges. Key Responsibilities

#LI-LE1 Pay Range: $184,000 - $276,000Disclosure Statement: The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
